Jagdterrier
The Jagdterrier (pronounced “Yack-terrier”) is a relatively new breed only established since the early 1900’s. The breed is easily recognizable from its small, muscular stature, rarely exceeding 20 pounds. Its distinctive black and tan coat can be found in 3 phases–smooth coat, broken coat, or wire hair. Their personality makes the breed what it is, by having a never quit attitude and often attacking prey/game 10 times their size in weight.

Joining UBT

Joining UBT is simple. You do not need to already have a dog, nor do you even need the desire to have a tracking dog. All you need is a desire to stand with us to see that every state makes it possible for trackers to have tracking dogs to recover wounded animals and to promote tracking dogs for the recovery of wounded animals through education. It is a simple process and you can be sure that the small amount of money it costs for membership will be put to good use.

Mission Statement

United Blood Trackers is dedicated to promoting resource conservation through the use of trained tracking dogs in the ethical recovery of big game. We support recovery efforts afield, the education of hunters, the training and testing of dog handlers and their dogs, and legislative efforts to promote blood tracking.
