Been tracking since 2018 here in PA. Not UBT tested and don't need to be. Proof is in the pudding and we got lots of pudding!
We own and love two breeds….Weimaraner and now bloodhound. We have owned weimaraners for little over 7 years. Fletcher was trained in shed antler hunting from age of 8 weeks and showed tons of drive and potential. He showed drive to do other things, so we spoke to others and learned the art of blood tracking and he's eager every time as if it was the first!
We have had Willow for 6 years now and her first season proved her to be our go to dog, she works the trail hard. Just ask our clients from last year! Wow she showed herself, and was minimally trained, no real experience at the time! (sadly our Fletcher got a tick born illness (not lyme) while out last year and had to take a few weeks off to recover and she proved herself quite well! She had a 80% success rate her first year! (That's exceptionally high!- look it up on internet !)
All three are great trackers. Autumn amazes us for being such a young dog. She is learning more and more every month.
When it comes to UBT certificates, we would be happy to go head to head against any dog out there and show a certificate is planned success with fake setup.
Deer we find with our dogs are the only ribbons we need, true measure of their abilities in our minds.
We do track bears but are doing them on a case by case basis and being super selective. We have been nose to nose with angry injured bears. Our dogs are our pets. We love them and wouldn't put them in harms way for any amount of money.
We cover Pennsylvania.
We strictly follow the law! We carry a license for the animal/season we are searching for, and keep our dogs leashed and ensure laws are followed during every track when it comes to all aspects of tracking/hunting. Please understand if we loose our license to hunt we can no longer track.
