I have been tracking deer and bear in the Finger Lakes area for the past 5 years. I have had the opportunity to meet and successfully help find many beginner and experienced hunters lost game. My wife Megan our son Aidan and I have started tracking as a team this year. I also team track with Phil Huber and Brent Ford as well. Two great guys with amazing dogs (bloodhounds) I’m finding that when the game we are tracking is not dead, it is very helpful to have another licensed tracker to assist in the dispatching of the animal. If you contact me please leave a detailed message of the hit, the deer’s reaction after the hit and if you haven’t already what to grid search until we have had a chance to speak. It sometimes takes a while for me or any tracker to get back to you as we are in high demand this time of year. But as they always say a dead deer never goes anywhere.
