I am a lifelong, avid hunter and believe in the ethics of exhausting every effort to recover wounded game. My tracking partner, Cletus, is a Labrador Retriever/Saint Bernard mix with an excellent nose and natural ability. We got into tracking a couple years ago just by chance when putting him on a day-old, lost blood trail for a fellow hunter. Cletus found that deer and I realized his ability. 2026 will be our 3rd season tracking together with numerous recoveries, including a find in 2025 after a hired, thermal drone was unsuccessful!
